Jennifer (Goedeker) Biswell jumped head first into the soirée planning
business during the summer of 2003 when she began assisting family
friend, Katie Fechter (former owner of Details Event Coordinators
and current owner of Town
and Country Bridal Boutique)with wedding
implementation. Katie
had a feeling that Jen’s organizational skills and high energy
would suit her well in the event coordinating industry. What
Katie didn’t
realize was that Jen would find a genuine love of the business, noting, “Jen’s
experience, style, and attention to detail guarantee success!” This
true interest, coupled with innate motivation to learn every aspect
of event planning would take Jen from being an assistant to a coordinator
and finally to owning and operating her own event consulting company.
Jen has planned and coordinated ceremonies of non-denominational,
Catholic, Christian, Hindu, and Jewish faiths. Over the years, Jen has forged strong relationships with top special
event vendors and venues in the greater St. Louis metropolitan
area. Her determination and professional nature earned
her the respect of highly regarded wedding vendors in the St.
Louis area. It is often that vendors admittedly breathe
a sigh of relief when they find out that Soirée Saint
Louis will be on the scene of an event.

Jen has been described by her clients as "focused and knowledgeable, yet always receptive to fresh ideas." A particularly organized client once mentioned, "I didn't think I needed a wedding planner until I met Jen. She validated my good ideas and helped me to improve upon some of my more underdeveloped plans. Having Jen with me throughout my wedding day was not only enjoyable, it was invaluable."
Perhaps it isn’t her organizational skills or true interest
in planning wedding celebrations, but instead her educational background
that makes her so well-suited to handle all the pressures of event
consultation. Jen holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology
and a Master's degree in Social Work. Who is better suited
to calm emotionally charged situations and effortlessly adhere
to vendor requests, while never overstepping boundaries?
